Our Parishes

There are two churches within our Parish, St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Upminster and  English Martyrs, Hornchurch.

We are very lucky to be located next to St. Josephs’ Church. As part of our Religious Education curriculum, we ensure that our pupils have the opportunity to visit the church and experience its significance firsthand. These visits are especially meaningful when learning about key sacraments such as Baptism and the ordination of a priest. By visiting the church, students deepen their understanding of these important rituals and their place within the Catholic faith. These visits provide a tangible connection to the sacraments, helping students appreciate the sacredness of the church and the profound impact these rites have on individuals and the wider faith community.
